Lisa Tucker McElroy is an attorney, writer, law professor, and mom. She is an Associate Professor of Law at Philadelphia's Drexel University College of Law, where she teaches writing, advocacy and a seminar on the United States Supreme Court. In addition to writing children’s books, Lisa regularly publishes articles and essays about marriage, parenting, and family in national magazines such as Child, Parenting, Fit Pregnancy, and Mary Engelbreit’s Home Companion. Lisa and her books have appeared on the Today Show, CNN, the Satellite Sisters, NBC Nightly News, and many other radio and television programs. She and her books have been featured in People, Time, Parents, and other newspapers and magazines across the country. Lisa is a graduate of Choate Rosemary Hall, Dartmouth College, the University of Michigan School of Public Health, and the Harvard Law School. Finally, and most importantly, Lisa and her husband, Steve, are the proud and sometimes harried parents of two wonderful daughters, Zoe (8) and Abby (6). Lisa and Steve have been together pretty much ever since their two dogs introduced them at the dog park one cold January day in 1995. The entire family, which now includes several species, lives in Wallingford, PA.
